HOW DOES A PATERNITY TEST WORK?
A paternity test is a test used to determine the father of a child. This testing option compares an alleged father’s genetic profile with a child’s genetic profile.
If the analysis shows the alleged father is the biological father of the child. The conclusion will state “the tested father cannot be excluded as the father of the tested child”.
It should be noted that we do recommend that the mother of the child is included in the paternity test for increased accuracy of your DNA test.
What is a paternity test?
A paternity test is a scientific test that can give you an answer to the question, “Is this man the father of my child?”
A paternity test is used to establish the paternity of a child for cases of child support, adoption, immigration, peace of mind, and Social Security to name of few.
The accuracy of your test results will be 99.99% or higher for legal inclusion. Family Court judges nationwide accept a result that is 99.9% and higher.
